Cherry Creek Grill is a restaurant I could eat at once a week. Seriously. @cherrycreekgrill_ features a compact, yet fantastic menu full of options that make it difficult to decide what to order. I have frequented this establishment (and its sister restaurant Hillstone) quite often since moving to the denver area and have never been disappointed. My favorite part of this restaurant is the range is offers up, and does well. Owned by Hillstone Restaurant Group, it blends all of their concepts together to delight customers time and time again.

My wife and I started our evening at the bar with jumbo shrimp cocktail, prepared classically and served with homemade tartar sauce as well as their famous, limited quantity heirloom Grilled Artichokes. This visit was casual- we both had our eyes on the best cheeseburger in town. Cooked fresh and made in house, served with all the fixings, Cherry Creek Grill's cheeseburger is outstanding. Other favorites that I keep coming back for are the Emerald Kale and Rotisserie Chicken salad, Pan-Seared Ahi Tuna Salad, Ding's Crispy Chicken Sandwich, BBQ Ribs and Famous French Dip.

@cherrycreekgrill_ delivers customers with a full bar, house cocktails and a wine list on the smaller side with plenty of choices from around the globe. Tonight, we naturally had cocktails because we were sitting at the bar. While limited, their cocktail list delivers with choices from a Manhattan, Old Fashioned and Bandera Margarita. I was recommended the Paper Plane by the bartender and it did not disappoint(Bulleit Bourbon, Aperol, Amara Nomino and freshly squeezed lemon juice). @cherrycreekgrill_ bartenders can mix one heck of martini, and if you have been sipping on yours for a bit, they will even offer to bring you a fresh frosted glass.

There are several classic wineries featured on the list, Schramsberg, Jordan, Rombauer, Soter, Duckhorn and Cakebread. Heck, they even have the Prisoner. You can tell they are part of a large corporate restaurant group by the labels on their winelist. While the wine is good- they don't seem to have the ability to support smaller vineyards and offer every brand your father-in-law recognizes. Pricing is fair, and you will easily navigate their list, which can help you narrow down your vino decisions. Their limited beer selection offers 2 local brews from Odell and Avery.

Service | 5.0 Dishes

The highlight of this restaurant is the service. It keeps you coming back. From bringing a frosted martini glass to you half-way through your cocktail, to tentative busing and service, you can tell the staff truly want you to enjoy your visit. You can substitute sides and items without worrying about extra charges or hassles and they know how to treat their customers. This is the secret sauce to why @cherrycreekgrill_ has been a staple of downtown Cherry Creek since it's inception in 1996. Whether you are seated at the bar, table or waiting for your spot in their standing room only waiting area, you are treated well and offered an outstanding experience.

The Cherry Creek Grill delivers on a modern supper club mood. Upon entering, you pass a wood pile and can't help but to smell the rotisserie chicken in the back corner of the open kitchen. It's inviting, like walking into your cousin's house before a bbq. The spot lighting and dimly lit all-booth tables surround an oval bar with two small tvs to keep track of the night's games. The vibe is intimate, yet social. The restaurant also has a small patio that is first come, first serve. Even though the restaurant has been open for 25 years, expect to wait 1-2 hours on the weekend and at least an hour during dinner service without a reservation.

The @cherrycreekgrill_ is a juggernaut in Cherry Creek. From the welcoming atmosphere, top notch food and wine & attentive service; this restaurant delivers time and time again. It takes consistency and great food to stay busy for 25 years. It's rare to find this level of attention to detail in Denver, and diners show it, packing the booths and bar on a nightly basis.
